Hello and welcome to all of you new bambinos!
As all of us here at Springboards know, your transition to university can be a daunting one. Whether you come fresh from college, a gap year spent working or you took three years out trekking the Himalayas, we’ve got your back and we’re here to make this journey a wee bit easier.
We want to support you as incoming geographers and environmental scientists, but also as the lovely all-round humans that you are. We want everyone to feel wholly welcome and supported, so we shall be including information on societies that cover religion and sexuality, info for what to do if you’re unwell, or miss a deadline, or are struggling with your mental health. All of these things, and many more, are integral to making your university experience an overwhelmingly positive and happy one. So even if we can’t help you with a specific issue or query, we can absolutely give you the resources and information for you to hunt down an answer or access the help that you need.
So feel free to explore the blog a bit more, we will have a regular stream of posts and lots of useful information pages for you to utilise. If there’s anything important that we haven’t covered, or you feel should be included, please drop us a message.
All the good luck wishes for your upcoming adventure,
